Cold Fire Creek Dogsledding
What better way to venture deep into the heart of the Canadian Rockies, than behind a team of enthusiastic and friendly Alaskan huskies. Our friends from Cold Fire Creek Dog sleddingare joining us at Pyramid Lake and bringing their furry friends with them. Marvel at the beauty of towering peaks and frozen waterfalls as your team of sled dogs leads you through snow-draped evergreens.
Don’t pass up the chance to hit the slopes this Jasper in January. Adventures Week has you covered with numerous events that will have every true skier and boarder itching to get up to the hill.
Your day doesn't end when the lifts close. Head up to the Upper Chalet for Evenings at the Eagle. You’ll be hungry after a full day of unbelievable skiing so start your night with a light snacks and a cash bar. From there you will be served a delicious three-course meal. And to top it all off, you'll end your day with an escorted night ski down the mountain.
Be sure to join us for Avalanche Awareness Day and get some avalanche education including beacon training sessions, CARDA dog demonstrations, avalanche awareness talks and explosive demonstrations.
And remember, entrance to Jasper National Park and all national parks in Canada is free througout 2017 - it's our way of celebrating Canada's 150th anniversary. The party is just getting started.
